Is there an age requirement or age limit to rent your trailers?
The renter and all additional drivers must be age 25 or older.
Can I use a rental truck to haul one of the trailers?
No, the tow vehicle must be a personally owned and insured vehicle.
How do I know whether or not my vehicle is capable of towing a trailer?
For a general idea of the weight your vehicle is capable of towing you can visit https://towratings.net/. Additionally, at minimum, your vehicle must be equipped with a hitch receiver and a plug for the trailer lighting. The total weight of our trailers is listed on our site. You can add that weight to the weight you expect to be towing for the total weight. Of course you may also contact us if you are not sure.
How do I know whether or not my vehicle has a tow package?
The first place to look is in your vehicle owner's manual. You can also find information on various vehicles at https://letstowthat.com/
Must I already have a hitch on my vehicle before I can rent a trailer, or do you provide one?
Your vehicle must be equipped with a tow package to rent a trailer. See previous questions.
How do I know how much weight my vehicle can tow?

Must my vehicle be equipped with special trailer brakes?
Trailer brakes are highly recommended and may be mandatory for certain trailers that tow heavier loads. This will be up to our discretion.
What documentation do I have to provide you in order to rent a trailer?
You and all additional drivers must provide current valid drivers license, current vehicle registration, proof that your insurance company will cover liability on your vehicle while towing a trailer and a debit/credit card for securing deposits.
What type of insurance do I need?
We will require proof that your auto insurance company will cover liability on your vehicle while towing a trailer. It is preferable if your insurance agent will complete our form certifying that your insurance policy covers liability on your vehicle while towing a trailer. If you cannot get this from completed by your agent you must provide us a full and complete copy of your car insurance policy with all pages included.
Do you offer any daily insurance?
No. We are not currently offering this.
Will I have to obtain any additional permits from the Oregon DMV prior to towing a loaded trailer?
It is possible that if you rent either the dump trailer or the tilt trailer and the total weight of the trailer plus your load exceeds 8,000 pounds, then you may be required to obtain a 'Registration Weight Trip Permit' directly from the DMV. Please click on the Trailers menu item above and read the Important Notice written beneath each of these trailers. It also contains a link to the Oregon DMV.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all credit cards.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we do. We require a $100 deposit per trailer. You can use a credit card.
